Daniel Rosenfarb is a singer-songwriter from Norfolk, Virginia. Daniel grew up in a very musical family; his mother was a music teacher and instilled in him from a young age a love for artists such as John Denver and the carpenters as well as for musical theatre. At the age of ten, Daniel was hired as a singer and actor for his first musical theatre show. He continued his young career until he picked up the guitar at fifteen; it was love at first strum! He immediately began writing songs and was immersed in the world of classic rock, folk, and blues. He soon developed an ear for indie rock/folk from artists such as The Weepies, Ingrid Michaelson, and The Hush Sound, and soon began playing out on paid gigs. The bug for music never left as Daniel continued his career as a part-time musician as well as a studio musician. In 2021 Daniel recorded his first single, “The Little Things”. Daniel's singer-songwriter style is a cross between indie pop-rock and folk and has often been compared to Jack Johnson or as a brighter Death Cab for Cutie. You can hear the early influences of folk, classic rock, and musical theatre. Daniel currently lives in Norfolk, VA with his wife and internet fish.
