Daniel & The River was born from Daniel Jonsson's love of rock, americana, a dose of country and his home region Hälsingland in the heart of Sweden. Before commuting between the home in Arbrå and the work at the factory in Iggesund, a number of songs had been written over the years that needed to be realized in some way. Daniel reached out to some friends and acquaintances to put together a band to somehow see where it would go musically. The band consists today of Daniel Jonsson, drummer Marcus Losbjer (Wolverine, Di Leva, Cucumber Park), guitarist Magnus Söderblom (Cibola Junction, Slaggpusher), bassist Stefan Sköld (ex Nordman) and keyboardist Daniel Karlsson.
