Danilo Madonia

Danilo Madonia was born in Genova - Italy, to wonderful and proud parents. He wandered a lot to study piano under Raf Cristiano at the A. Vivaldi and G. Verdi Conservatories, respectively in Alessandria and Turin. As a musician Danilo enjoyed a successful touring and recording career in Italy, for almost 40 years.

These are some of the many artist Danilo worked with in studio and/or in live shows: Moody Blues, Renato Zero, Eugenio Finardi, Double You, Fiorella Mannoia, Francesco de Gregori, Ron, Anna Oxa, Angelo Branduardi, Eros Ramazzotti, Absolute, Angoon, Lucio Dalla, Gino Paoli, Franco Fasano, Giorgio Gaber, Claudio Baglioni only to name a few. For his essential contributions with the Moody Blues, Danilo has been credited as "unofficial member and producer" (All Music Guide).

He also collaborated with Pivio & Aldo de Scalzi, two fo the most successful Italian soundtrack composers, and he’s still cooperating with Flavio Ibba, a friend and a music wizard for TV advertising. At the moment Danilo also teaches piano and keyboard at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan.
