Danilo Stankovic is a composer and pianist based in Vienna, Austria. He draws his passion and drive from his curiosity and love for music in all its eclectic forms. His music can be heard in short films, radio and television advertisements for major brands, movie trailers, internet campaigns and arrangements for vocal artists.
When Danilo was five years old, he taught himself how to play the piano. His early interest in music grew as he formally started studying piano and music theory with age of six. Danilo continued his education in music university in Vienna and is formally trained as a classical pianist and composer.
In 2016, Danilo attended film scoring master class in Vienna with multiple Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe winning composer <a href="spotify:artist:71jzN72g8qWMCMkWC5p1Z0" data-name="Alexandre Desplat">Alexandre Desplat</a> (The Budapest Hotel, Harry Potter, Imitation Game, Ghostwriter). In 2010, he participated in the “Hollywood Music” workshop led by Emmy award winning and Oscar nominated composer <a href="spotify:artist:2l8NfsHSrQV6cwfJrGqqDm" data-name="Bruce Broughton">Bruce Broughton</a> (Silverado, Bambi). Furthermore in 2015, he attended workshop with Emmy award winning composer <a href="spotify:artist:2AvjWonQaWlRkaolk2NCxe" data-name="Richard Bellis">Richard Bellis</a> (Stephen King's IT), and multiple Oscar-nominated, Grammy and Emmy award winning composer <a href="spotify:artist:2M4eNCvV3CJUswavkhAQg2" data-name="James Newton Howard">James Newton Howard</a> (The Dark Knight, Hunger Games). This inspired his decision to pursue a film scoring career and offered him new perspectives.
