Trilingual singer & song-writer, Danis Borges (aka Danisha), represents her Caribbean roots throughout her Latin pop sound by merging true storytelling into catchy melodies, focusing on timeless concepts for her listeners.
From humble begginings, singing at regional events and bars in Venezuela, Curaçao, Argentina and The Netherlands as last and current based country where Danisha's 2023 single "Elafonisi" came out. A mediterranean love story turned into a jazzy colorful spectrum of organic sounds. Danisha takes her listeners into a vivid experience at the time and place she describes in her songs. Keenly she is rolling out a deeper set off fusioning genres like R&B, Slow jams and Afrobeat into her own endemic and transcendent sound.
