Musically, they create intricate and catchy melodies, while frequently switching genres. Lyrically, they gravitate towards hyper-specific themes, often with a touch of humor.
2018 saw the first official release with the EP, “Grand Slam, Thank You Ma’am." Among the tracklist was, “Who’s Been Smoking You Out?," a 1950’s inspired tale of heartbreak and marijuana. Following the EP, seven more singles were released, including “Breakup Haircut” and “4/4," with total streams reaching over 10,000,000.
From 2018 to 2020, they stayed active on social media, performing weekly virtual concerts and attracting thousands of fans, referred to as “Chromosomes.” Following an east coast U.S tour in early 2020, the Covid pandemic prompted the band to take a hiatus.
