Irish-Swiss singer / songwriter Danny Concannon was born in Schaffhausen in 1995. Danny first got in touch with music in music lessons in Ireland, where he lived with his family for a few years. The piano and its melancholic sounds inspired Danny from then on. After a few years of singing and piano lessons, he started writing his own melodies and lyrics. Melancholy became his trademark, which is reflected in his songs.
In 2017 Danny's first single "Don't Forget That I Love You" followed, with which he secured a place in the iTunes charts as well as a place in the final of the Swiss young talent competition "Kleiner Prix Walo". Four months later followed the pop anthem "Let Me Dream This Dream", which is still played on the radio at home and abroad. Several appearances followed, among others with pop singer Jesse Ritch or star panflutist Jonas Gross and many radio interviews in Europe.
In 2021 Danny released a cover of Lana Del Rey's hit "Video Games". The song spent several hours at number 1 in the Swiss iTunes charts on the day of its release. Singer Bonnie Tyler took notice of the version and released a support video, which generated media coverage for Danny throughout Switzerland.
On 3 February 2023, Danny's first own single since 2018 will follow with the infectious pop anthem "Victim of Love"!
