Danny Evans

Danny Evans is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer. He is best known for his career as the guitarist and singer in his band Amoramora, during which he toured across the states from 2015-2020, regularly hitting places like New York City, Nashville, Austin, Denver, San Francisco, and Portland. After returning from another month on the road in March of 2020, Evans began to dive deeper into the songs and demos that had been piling up on his shelf for the past five years - and he made the decision to put the music out under his own name. Danny’s new transition in songwriting favored elements like delay-entrenched guitar tones reminiscent of early surf rock bands, four chord choruses that you won't forget, and more importantly: a large focus on the facets of production in the sonic realm - bringing in different instruments like vintage synthesizers, hard to find guitar pedals, and unconventional things you might find around your house. These new songs coming from Evans feature dynamic and aural backdrops similar to more modern and contemporary garage rock, lofi, indie rock & psychedelic pop. It’s loud, it’s different and it smells…
