Daniel was originally born in Broward County, Florida, but was raised in Caracas, Venezuela, until he was 7. He later moved back to the United States, so he gained his Latin influence from living in South America. Growing up, he decided that he wanted to be an artist. He started off with hip-hop, which was his leading interest in genre.
