Maya June Dwyer and Youssef Nassar intertwine vibrant indie electronic vibes with dreamy folkloric melodies and rhythms in Dans La Lune, a new musical duo based in Montréal. Their eclectic artistic backgrounds – Maya’s career in dance and immersive performing arts, coupled with Youssef's journey as a solo music artist, sound designer, and filmmaker – unite them in a shared passion for storytelling through an interdisciplinary lens, and their intimate connection infuses their music with depth and sincerity. From layered vocals to pulsating club grooves, Dans La Lune embraces the ethereal and the earthly, inviting listeners to get lost in emotional cinematic universes and witchy psychedelic reveries. Their debut single, Lullaby Love, was released in April 2024, to be followed by a spring EP, and a full album later this year.
