From Los Angeles California, Danté Santiago is a successful multifaceted music industry executive, a talented singer, performer, creative A&R & executive producer. He is a founding member of The Black Eyed Peas and is featured on various records such as Monkey Business' "Dum Diddly" and on will.i.am's album #willpower on "The World is Crazy". His vocals can also be heard throughout multiple Black Eyed Peas albums on songs like "Let's get it Started", "Hey Mama" & many more.
His contributions were monumental in many ways, as will.i.am discusses in a VIBE Magazine article: "Dante Santiago is very important [to the start of the Black Eyed Peas]. He is the guy that in 1992 told David Faustino to have a rap contest and I entered that rap contest. That’s how I got my record deal with Eazy E and Ruthless Records. He was at the same club that night."
“It was Dante Santiago who introduced us to Fergie. He had known Fergie since they were 15. So the same dude responsible for getting me my first record deal is now introducing me to Fergie, which led to her joining our group."
Danté is currently working on his own project and on his artist Damoni's debut album through his record label Ghettro Inc.
