Dante’s Paradise is an alternative rock band originally formed on Canada’s west coast, though now are based in Montreal, Quebec. The band primarily falls within the rock and indie genre, with influences from alternative and dream pop. Jay Cote, band leader and song writer describes the music as an honest and raw representation of being an artistry and navigating early adulthood under late stage capitalism. Jay also describes their
“mashing” of influences as an emerging style within the Montreal music scene, which locals
refer to as “Dreamo”. Their ability to craft emotionally resonant songs with intricate
arrangements positions them as an artist to watch in the evolving landscape of alternative music.
To Date, the band has released one full length album (Your Move) and one EP. Their second
album "You're Watching Live” is set to come out in late summer/Early fall 2025.
