Darine Hadchiti (دارين حدشيتي), born on 17 April 1981 in Hadchit, Lebanon, is a Lebanese pop singer who rose to fame after competing in Studio El Fann (2001–2002), where she won a bronze medal. She studied music for five years at the Lebanese National Conservatory, mastering vocal techniques, oud, solfège, Byzantine and Syriac singing. Her official career launched in 2005 with her breakthrough single and album Eddam El Kel, which established her as one of the bold voices of the mid-2000s Lebanese pop scene. Over the years, she released albums such as Irtahlak Albi and Kel El Ossa, delivered hit singles including “Ba3dak Bkil El Matare7” and “Irtahlak Albi,” and won a Murex d’Or Award in 2007 for Best Video Clip. Known for her emotive voice and daring style, she built a strong fan base across the Arab world, though her activity slowed in later years due to industry challenges. Today, her music remains popular on digital platforms, and she is still admired as one of Lebanon’s distinctive female voices.
