The band ‘Dark Hollow’ was officially announced in October of 2023 releasing their first single ‘Masochist’ in January of 2024 and their second single 'Worn Out' in November of 2024. Dark Hollow consists of two members, lead singer/songwriter Max Ecklund & guitarist/songwriter Anthony Grey. The band works primarily online with Anthony being the main composer of the instrumentals while Max then writes the melodies and lyrics that expand the vision and the overall tone of their songs. They take inspiration from all types of music ranging from electronic synths to ambient orchestra with the main influence of their genre being metalcore/alternative rock. Through their songwriting, they create an atmosphere with dramatic keys and emotional instrumentals supported by poetic lyrics to help their listeners envision a setting and story for each track. Overall, the bands’ main goal is to create impactful music that can resonate with anyone around the world.
