Dark Roast Specialist is a collective of musicians, producers, and storytellers operating like a cupping table: with critical ears, method, and poetry.
Our pieces are built from skeletal samples, vinyl-dust percussion, and basslines that breathe like boilers.
We are a nomadic cell moving between Mexico City and Tokyo, capturing sounds from bars, roasters, and baristas’ confessions to distill a lyrical world about craft — origin, extraction, loss, temperature, ethics.
