Darkness Brought Me Here is a five members nu-metalcore act from northern Italy.
Currently made by: Matteo "Black" Bianchi, Stefano "Steel" Tavazzani and Angelo "Aiden" Guarnaccia as founder members, Lorenzo "Low" Grilli and Federico "The Viking Duke" Duca as later-added members.
Formed in the early 2019 their will is to bring something fresh to the metalcore scene by adding an inch of deathcore, djent and industrial vibes to their cold and dark metalcore baseline.
The conviction that the hardships, the decay that inhabits the world and the people and the malevolence we all suffer, all this must be an inexhaustible source of strength. That's what drove them to start creating their own music.
Their first release went off in late december 2019: <a href="spotify:track:2c3R1sEuoVtowv5QOXJL9d" data-name="Deviant (Reamped)">Deviant (Reamped)</a>. Showcasing heavy riffs, both hardcore and melodic vibes, chaotic dissonances and angry lyrics that are accompanying the band in their journey so far.
After a couple of lineup changes, during the global quarantine period, they've completed the release of their first EP <a href="spotify:track:51I5kKpj1LjBdZMLS7beRR" data-name="Outburst">Outburst</a>
which came out late may 2021, produced by Davide Aroldi aka HVZE.
The EP release included a YouTube music video for <a href="spotify:track:5Q2G3DwRWGCqauQV1eHcZP" data-name="Silence">Silence</a>, the 6th and last track.
Unable to perform live due to covid-19, they can't wait to start touring as soon as it's safe to do so.
