Darkness is an East London multi-genre music producer. He started first releasing music online for free in his early-teens, posting them on forums, social media and circulating them to DJs.
Darkness signed to DJ Cable’s label Triangulum in 2015 for several releases including the "Eski Thug EP" and the “North Circular” single. In 2016, he founded his own label, Quantum Sound and began to consistently put out a string of releases over the years to follow.
He is perhaps best known for his single “Arrogant Stance”, a vocal version of his “Eski Thug” instrumental which features a whole host of high-profile MCs including AJ Tracey, Big Zuu and more on the eleven-man line-up.
He also co-produced the first release on D Double E’s Bluku Bluku imprint “Wolly” alongside Sir Spyro. He produced the track “Focus” on the 6th Dizzee Rascal album Raskit.
Darkness is steadily building himself as a label owner and producer by collaborating and working with both high profile and newer rising artists while still releasing his music through his own Quantum Sound label independently.
