DarkStarGraver (DSG) is an up-coming rapper born in Namibia, to Zambian parents, who is now based in Portsmouth,UK. After being exposed to various music genres from a young age, including; RnB, soul and gospel, DarkStarGraver found an interest in music and performing. During his time growing up in London he was introduced to grime, garage and gangsta rap which greatly influenced his desire to pursue his musical career within the rap and hip-hop scene. After coming across a bootleg ‘Death Row Uncut’ DVD at the age of 10, DSG began writing his own raps and beats – the first of which was titled ‘Dark Stars’ and led to his namesake.
DarkStarGraver takes inspiration from a wide range of genres which can all be heard in elements of his music; from RnB and hip-hop to rock and pop.
