Singing their hearts out since 2008, Darling & Debonair have written and performed together for over 15 years in different projects in Salt Lake City.
Now, for the first time in over a decade, the pair take time to let the songs take center stage, tracking everything live in the studio, saving a single acoustic guitar for accompaniment.
Darling & Debonair’s debut, “Just Us Two”, blends bold, heartfelt vocal harmonies with purposeful lyrics that ask their audience to search within themselves for forgiveness, gratitude, longing, and joy.
Their work covers a wide range of genre: soul, R&B, folk, pop, indie, singer songwriter, the list goes on and on. Thom and Claire grew up together as musical companions on a steady diet of classic soul, r&b, funk and rock. Finding contemporary inspiration in acts like: Lucius, the Black Pumas, and Shovels & Rope, the two command the presence of an audience, invoking time for wonderment and careful reflection.
