As a teenager, Darryl hitchhiked from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, where he began a legendary career as a professional blackjack player — he was Inducted into the Blackjack Hall Of Fame in 2010.
In his twenties, he walked from Los Angeles to Washington DC for peace, on the Great Peace March for Global Nuclear Disarmament.
In his thirties Darryl began his third (and last?) iteration as a performing songwriter, releasing 8+ albums of original music. The last two, Still The Birds and Next Time Around spent weeks at #1 for AirPlay on Roots Music Report.
