Raised in Boston’s youth arts non-profits, Dominican-American producer turned rapper, Dawry was exposed to the inner workings of the music industry at an early age. Throughout high school, he focused on organizing the youth arts festival, YESFest, and making music as a part of the collective Project Method. He is attending the University of Wisconsin Madison as a scholar in First Wave, the only full-tuition college scholarship for Hip-Hop and Urban arts in the country. His debut EP, Thank You, Come Again, was released in 2021. He premiered his break-beat play, Speakeasy, at Linebreaks one of the midwest's largest Hip-Hop & Theatre festivals in 2022. to critical acclaim. After sharing the stage with the likes of Mick Jenkins, Latrell James, Danez Smith, R.A.P Ferrierra, and more he always brings immediacy to any stage he is on and elevates his storytelling with every project.
