Darsh Kasliwal

Experimental and genre-defining is how Darsh Kasliwal’s music can be described as. Darsh born in Jaipur, and raised in Tokyo during his childhood, credits most of his inspiration and influence to modern-day Rockstars like Travis Scott, and Kanye West and Bedroom artists like Aries, and Clairo. Darsh believes the true essence of an artist is to create and share his perspective with the world through his own medium of expression, and this is what he wants to achieve.
His inspiration comes from the day-to-day things he goes through or the emotions he feels like a normal teenager, which an artist with a huge following cannot relate to or comprehend or write about; feelings of escapism, affection, fantasies, and desires can be felt throughout his entire discography. His mind is chaotic and his lyrics are harmonized.
Starting in 2018 during his 10th grade Board Exams as a distraction is now a full-time profession for this 20-year-old. Darsh produces, records, writes, mixes and masters all his songs within the four walls of his bedroom. Spending days, weeks, and even months trying to perfect the sounds he visions.
In 2020, he released his debut EP, “Ghumshuda”, which made quite a buzz in the indie scene, but his goals for 2022 are much more than what he has ever achieved.
