(born August 26 ),known professionally as Darus State, is an Togolese-American Afrobeat singer,Hip Hop Rapper, songwriter, record executive, entrepreneur, and actor currently based in USA . He is regarded by many contemporaries as one of the most influential West African artists of his generation,He started his music career as rapper and singer in 2003,and often cited as one of the greatest musicians of all time.
In 2004, Darus State was put in a duo with Another togolese musician named Elom smith.,they recorded a song called "gameli".In 2004; he released another 3 other singles called"fiesta,Baby and Enogne",the "Baby" became popular.
In 2011 For his love of the music Darus State decided to move to USA to focus on what he does the best, 2014 he announced on social media his first single"mawuye" as well as couple other solo,"Blewu Blewu(Bella Bellow),<a href="spotify:album:214QpJRMbhODrGVZPpCaqo" data-name="Ajei">Ajei</a>, <a href="spotify:album:3Ad1CBzuLG0pQChdfUqHdf" data-name="DDR (Danse Des Riches) [Live]">DDR (Danse Des Riches) [Live]</a> and collaborations with Ali jeez on "Destiny", Wedy on "Mimbo",Yaovi Ketheti and KanAa on Push,"Yaovi Ketheti,Guen,Bob Lyrico,Peewii on "Kpatima" throughout 2014 and 2019.Also a winner of Best Featuring of the year and Best Artist of Diaspora at Golden Music award 2018.........
