DASKIDOH, also known as Oscar Mgaga, is a 25-year-old musician from Mpumalanga, kwaNdebele, deeply rooted in Thembalethu. His musical journey began at a young age, imitating tunes and recording as a backing vocalist in sixth grade. His passion for music grew during his time at Elukhanyisweni Secondary School, where he formed a group and released a single.

After matriculating from Musa High School, he met Taribo West, igniting their determination to pursue music together. Oscar&#39;s solo career took off with &#34;Impilo Emnandi&#34; and &#34;Uzthole,&#34; produced by <a href="spotify:artist:0fs9otT9TtwXUOcFXZomZY" data-name="Caiiro">Caiiro</a>. In 2017, &#34;Siphuze,&#34; a collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:7FUskXeKHXdG71FXZcndW0" data-name="Taribo West">Taribo West</a>, marked a turning point in his musical journey.

Oscar has shared stages with artists like Prince Kaybee and Black Motion and was featured on &#34;SMS&#34; by Shuga Cane in 2021 and 2022. His music video for &#34;Zinja Zami&#34; appeared on Channel O and MTV. Collaborations with DJ Jawz, Dr Lamondro, and <a href="spotify:artist:7FUskXeKHXdG71FXZcndW0" data-name="Taribo West">Taribo West</a> on &#34;Umdali&#34; gained recognition on both Channel O and MTV.
