DASKIDOH, also known as Oscar Mgaga, is a 25-year-old musician from Mpumalanga, kwaNdebele, deeply rooted in Thembalethu. His musical journey began at a young age, imitating tunes and recording as a backing vocalist in sixth grade. His passion for music grew during his time at Elukhanyisweni Secondary School, where he formed a group and released a single.
After matriculating from Musa High School, he met Taribo West, igniting their determination to pursue music together. Oscar's solo career took off with "Impilo Emnandi" and "Uzthole," produced by Caiiro. In 2017, "Siphuze," a collaboration with Taribo West, marked a turning point in his musical journey.
Oscar has shared stages with artists like Prince Kaybee and Black Motion and was featured on "SMS" by Shuga Cane in 2021 and 2022. His music video for "Zinja Zami" appeared on Channel O and MTV.
