DateNight is an indie rock band from Provo, UT. Initially just a group of single college buddies meeting on Monday nights to show off the music they were writing, DateNight quickly became a full fledged band, whose sound has been described as “a cool throwback to 90’s pop rock.”
DateNight was formed on February 14, 2014. DateNight is made up of James Pemberton (vocals, guitar), Alessandro Improta (vocals, bass), Zach Collier (vocals, guitar), Loren Larsen (drums), and Jared King (vocals, keys).
The band is known for their energetic live performance and eclectic repertoire, both in full band and acoustic settings.
The band has been featured in several publications, including Deseret News, KSL, Provo Buzz, Buzz.io, LDS Media Talk, and the Daily Herald – primarily for their music video “Chloe,” a work created for the BYU Women’s Services and Resources “Recapturing Beauty” campaign.
