Dave Carter originally started producing music as a hobby in 1998. Heavily influenced by euphoric and melodic trance producers including <a href="spotify:artist:3DMOYGdJCKAkbIiUZoCcuT" data-name="The Cynic Project">The Cynic Project</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7wU1naftD3lNq7rNsiDvOR" data-name="Paul van Dyk">Paul van Dyk</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:1JKDQ9CDwfLKUrhO6KYaki" data-name="Gouryella">Gouryella</a> he released a number of singles via mp3.com and achieved modest success on the platform. Throughout the 2000s Dave worked on a number of tracks including “Frequency” a Hard Trance track that was played across the UK on pirate radio and later was featured on Rapture TV. In 2017, Dave teamed up with his friend and fellow producer “Lex” to form the act "Sampras" where they released a joint single called “Mind The Gap”. They released this independently. In 2020 Dave released his first solo venture single “Get Out” on SYGYE records.
