Hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dave Fishingtrip is a band that's looking to bring the color and richness of vocal harmony to the contemporary rock genre.

Lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Grant Holmes views the project as a way to capture the listener's imagination through abstract lyrics and warm, inviting music with a home-grown, sentimental inflection.
"It's like reading a poem," Holmes said. "I want people to take the things I say and give their mind the opportunity to expand. They can even have multiple interpretations that overlap each other; that doesn't mean they're inaccurate."
