Dave Graney

Dave Graney and drummer Clare Moore played with the Moodists from 1978 to 1986. They then played with the White Buffaloes/Coral Snakes from 1987-1997. Then the Royal Dave Graney Show and Lurid Yellow Mist. Now it’s the mistLY. Graney and Moore joined by Stuart Perera (guitar since 1998) and Stu Thomas (bass since 2004). dave graney and the mistLY. Graney and Moore have been involved in roughly 30 official album releases over their career (with more than a dozen other releases as well) . Graney is the author of four books It Is Written, baby (1997), 1001 Australian Nights (2011) , WORKSHY (2017) and THERE HE GOES WITH HIS EYE OUT (collected lyrics 1980-2023). They have also composed music for films and television and Graney presents a radio show on Melbourne’s RRR every Tuesday at noon. 2024 album #1 was by Dave Graney and Clare Moore and was called (strangely) (emotional). 2024 album #2 was also credited to Dave Graney and Clare Moore and was called I Passed Through Minor Chord In A Morning. Touring Australia Oct and Nov 2025 for 30th anniversary of the Soft n Sexy Sound album.
