Dave Huntriss is Bristol-based multi-instrumentalist and composer known for his involvement with the artists Novo Amor, Hailaker, Nicholson Heal, and The Malago Ballroom. He has, however, been writing and releasing music alone since his teens, citing strong influences from Frightened Rabbit, The National, and Pinegrove to help him shape his own brand of melancholic yet energetic, alternative indie songs.
Dave has recently been bringing his music to life with a new full band outfit, as well as testing out material for a brand new album he's been quietly working on the past two years. These new songs are the most grand and ambitious Dave has written yet under his own name, featuring fuzz-laden guitars, pounding drums, and vast instrumental textures that mark a departure from the more delicate, minimal acoustic arrangements of Dave’s earlier music, taking him firmly out of the cliche 'one man and an acoustic guitar' solo artist realm.
