Dave Searby Mason

Instrumental music made by Dave Searby Mason, author and musician. Random sounds have influenced this musical landscape, occurrences like sudden rain on a rooftop, or a gust of wind in the trees, or a passing flock of birds flapping or voices echoing in a large hall, heard but not quite deciphered. Perhaps walking along a street, and tapping a metal lamppost, to find it hollow and it rings like a bell. Standing in the street tapping it as passers-by stare. Sounds heard in the world outside, converted into music inside, perhaps hinting at some submerged deeper symmetry, felt rather than understood. Then launched back out into the world.
