Dave has performed his songs all around Chicagoland at places like SPACE, FitzGerald’s, Martyrs, The Old Town School of Folk Music, The Law Office Pub & Music Hall, and the WXRT main-stage at The World’s Largest Block Party. He's opened for the likes of Peter Himmelman, Teddy Thompson, Glen Phillips, and many others.
Sills and his band - Chris Walke (lead guitar, pedal steel, lap steel), Justin O'Connell (drums), and Adam Gardner (bass) - have recently wrapped work on his fifth album, The Stars That Hang Above, with Gardner producing and engineering (as well as contributing his multi-instrumental skills).
