Over a decade ago, Davey T landed a publishing deal on Nashville's Music Row. Told his sound was “too old school and anthemic,” he faced repeated rejection from record labels. This ultimately pushed him out of the business—but not away from the music. After building a life as a successful real estate investor, he is self-funding his return, investing in his songs the way others invest in startups. Many songs have been rewritten and re-recorded multiple times until they feel right, honest, real, and worth sharing.
