Canadian vocalist, rapper, instrumentalist, producer and audio engineer David Bailey, first exposed by his debut Sound-Cloud single “It’s been a while”, in 2018, followed by his second hit single, “Synergy'', in February of 2020, which caught the attention of many people across the globe. Later followed by a Sound-Cloud EP of freestyles, including the freestyle, “Cross-faded.”
Growing up, David was strongly influenced by Jazz and Classical music. Because of David's parent’s unique beliefs, and educational backgrounds, they decided to homeschool David; they also gave him the amazing opportunity to study the Piano for 12 years. Without the years of practice, David would not be able to achieve the level of creativity and authenticity he obtains and continues to aspire to reach.
Influenced by many Pop, R&B, Trap, Soul, Jazz and Classical artists, David Bailey built the ultimate home studio, known as “The Shed” in his parents backyard. The studio is his safe space, it's where David is able to let go of all of his emotions, which often leads to expressive and sincere freestyles that communicate the struggle of overcoming addiction, and the journey of battling anxiety and depression, in a broken world. It’s a space where David is able to truly look inwards and discover more about himself, and the world around him. It’s a space where the world doesn’t exist, and nothing matters except the music and the moment at hand.
