David Barr is a Scottish singer/songwriter and former frontman of hotly tipped indie rock band The Moon Kids who were once dubbed as “Scotland's next big thing!’’ Since the band broke up in 2021 Barr has spent most of his time between Scotland, London, LA & New York.
Known for irresistible melodies, captivating vocal hooks and well-crafted lyrics Barr has already had the thumbs up from the likes of London Grammar, Run DMC and Tom Waits when his song “Luna Park” reached the final of the International Songwriting Competition in Nashville.
It was in Nashville that he began writing fresh new solo music eventually teaming up with with multi-platinum awarded producer Anthony J Resta in West Hollywood… bringing you his debut single ‘Monday’s Rain’ .
