<a href="spotify:artist:1uR6J4WEBGM9ejMChe3iRK" data-name="David Cabador">David Cabador</a> (he/him) is an emerging singer/songwriter based in Vancouver, Canada. Well-known for his charisma, he seeks to connect his audience through his lyricism.
As he began to gain a following from performing online during the pandemic, David commenced his artistic career in 2022 when he released his debut single, “<a href="spotify:album:6g5SIK60zEwsp5niEIGwPe" data-name="happy for you">happy for you</a>”. It quickly became a hit song among his growing and devoted fanbase. He has since followed up with three singles, including a collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:1T7KTLbo5kFTZrB6iUnP1L" data-name="FHILIS">FHILIS</a>, and two remixes with <a href="spotify:artist:5NHpoVCouEJ7vzwk49AT3R" data-name="mmn">mmn</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2OGCo5uHRqlSv0FZV1zY48" data-name="Kah'Nya">Kah'Nya</a>. Additionally, he is also credited on <a href="spotify:artist:5lxCTmxT5x4p26ixYDy1n5" data-name="honeyxdew">honeyxdew</a>’s “<a href="spotify:album:7FzIfAc1OEnKUOKdz5aXho" data-name="if there's no second chance">if there's no second chance</a>”.
Nearing completion of the Bachelor of Applied Music program at Vancouver Community College (VCC), David studies songwriting with <a href="spotify:artist:5kSe7kEW9KZh77IGZXOXfX" data-name="Erik Severinson">Erik Severinson</a> and voice with <a href="spotify:artist:5uKzJ9LqPyHLpLdghwXKVK" data-name="Paula Kremer">Paula Kremer</a>. He performed regularly for student recitals and was granted opportunities to sing for VCC’s Spring 2024 Student Awards ceremony and for VCC’s Spring 2024 Convocation at Queen Elizabeth Theatre. He has also been involved with VCC’s Concert Choir and Great Northern Way band, who performed at the Vancouver Playhouse.
Recently, David’s compositional debut, “hope i find”, premiered on May 2025 at Pacific Spirit United Church. It was performed by the 4-time Healey Wilan award-winning <a href="spotify:artist:2xS1lOYmJC3Je79NowrcpG" data-name="Vancouver Cantata Singers">Vancouver Cantata Singers</a> for their REFLECTION concert. He also competed in 2025 Shipyards Got Talent solo competition.
