David Gillespie is an Oregon-born singer-songwriter residing in Concord, North Carolina.
His parents exposed him to music from the likes of Johnny Cash, Elton John, Billy Joel, and The Clash. David would close his eyes and imagine himself performing these songs on stage. This innate desire to perform guides him to this day.

Now, he performs original music in the Charlotte area, both solo and with a live band.
Soft-spoken in person, David shifts gears when he gets on stage and channels a no-holds-barred stage presence, allowing his vocals to wander from soft vibratos to guttural screams, performing music that ranges from delicate acoustic numbers to hard-hitting alternative rock.
His upcoming single, "Iron Vein," is a dark, foreboding alternative country track that explores the feelings of desperation and confinement in the bereaved widow of a miner, as well as the inescapable reality of towns whose sole source of sustenance lies deep in the bellies of America's unforgiving and unpredictable mountains.
