With riffs that seem to give access to time travel back to the 90's grunge era and a voice that can be similarly raspy like Kurt Cobain or vibrate like Layne Staley, Davíð, who has never shied away from speaking about difficult subjects in his music, conveys feelings of despair, depression, drug addiction and more in a way only he can. Thus, becoming one of the most prominent artists of the Icelandic underground music scene, with his debut solo album, The Mancave Tapes.
