David Kaufmann, 21, is a music producer and DJ from Düsseldorf, Germany. He has a degree from Electronic Music School (EMS) in Cologne and is currently doing a correspondence course with a major in music.
David’s music is already on many different labels and playlists – Maron Music, Beast Trap Records, Synergy Music, among others. Furthermore, a lot of big content creators – including CaptainSparklez, AFASHION, Tavarish – are using his music. His track “Vibes” was chosen as SONG OF THE WEEK #162 by teamMBL.
Given that his music is different from anything else on the market, labels can sometimes be hesitant to take a risk on it. “I stay optimistic and prefer producing what I love. I think that a lot of my loyal fans appreciate that. Of course I hope that over time I can inspire more people with my style of music.”, says David. While producing he focuses on the arrangement, to create his unique style. “I also love using minor-chords and vocal-chops.”, David says. His genre is a mix of different elements and characteristics of genres like Future House, Deep House and Trap. “At the moment, I am focusing on collaborations with singers. I am always open to new styles and opportunities.”
David has a goal for his music: “I am trying to sweeten up the day with catchy melodies to help get away from it all. I am not trying to copy famous artists – instead, I try to find my own personal style.”
