David Quinn is a musician, DJ and record producer from New York City.
The savant started his musical journey at a young age. Writing pop-punk anthems in 2008 with Here For The Fight that had the crowd chanting at his high schools Battle of the Bands. Then in 2010 joining up with Darkest Before Dawn, where they would self-record a full-length LP entitled “Vagary.” It was during this time that David developed his production skills and with inspiration from his Fathers love for house music, he embarked on a solo career at 16.
“ASDF” self-released in 2013 on SoundCloud, but was quickly picked up by Play Me Records on “New Blood of Bass” a yearly album drop showcasing EDMs most prospective young artists.
Later in 2015 he would release “Fake Music” with Yoe Mase. The track received world-wide love and millions of streams after MrSuicideSheep reposted the song. It was during this time that David partnered with VOIA, and started Kolourbridge Records to help build up small artists with their arsenal of industry knowledge. The label played a significant role for a handful of artists in their paths to success.
He would go on to spin at some of the country’s most notable nightclubs, including NYs’ Webster Hall, Club Roxy, and TIER.
David has been hard at work on multiple projects created in both Pompano and Orlando areas, featuring collabs with veteran musicians from these places, as well as all over the world.
