David Rooker (21) started making music at the age of ten and has since built up an impressive discography full of atmospheric, melancholic songs. In May 2023, debut EP ‘Exodus’ was released with single ‘Magnolia Dream’, an authentic piano ballad that was frequently played on Radio Veronica and NPO Radio 2. Second EP ‘Blue Octavo’, released in February 2024, further deepens the sound of the idiosyncratic songwriter and again results in success: Rooker is interviewed by Dutch national newspaper De Telegraaf and single ‘The Sound’ is played by NPO 3FM and NPO Radio 2. The musician is currently working on a full-length debut album.
