He is an accomplished musician and composer and has officially released 14 music albums. He has had extensive training in sound engineering, studio recording, and several instruments. His performance while a Music major was in Electronic Music. He has also trained in band instrument repair and piano rebuilding.He operated Lohan Recording Studios for several years. His main performance instrument is Guitar and Flute, but he also plays harmonica, drums, percussion, Piano, and has had training in almost every instrument in a typical orchestra. He also trained with the late Master Drummer/Dancer Baba Adetunji Joda (a special featured member of Olatunji's Drums of Passion), and was the only person to ever study privately with him, and David drummed at his side for over 14 years for hundreds of performances in Mr. Joda's Afrikan Dance troupes.Baba Adetunji requested David to teach Afrikan Drum classes for him, and David taught thousands of people how to play drums in Colorado, Illinois and California.
