David Takramah

David Takramah is a European-African songwriter and musician who lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He was born in Germany, but spent his childhood in Ghana, West Africa. There he grew up amidst a rich and vibrant musical culture so typical of African peoples. At about the age of five David Takramah heard - for the first time in his life - the live sound of an acoustic guitar being played by musicians around the corner in the neighbourhood. This fascinated him so much that he knew his was destined to become a musician one day. David Takramah's music has been influenced by many genres and has culminated in a distinct style.
