David Vandelay

Offering a fresh energy to the male pop scene, David Vandelay is an emerging artist with a lively and charismatic catalog. Inspired by iconic new pop acts like <a href="spotify:artist:74KM79TiuVKeVCqs8QtB0B" data-name="Sabrina Carpenter">Sabrina Carpenter</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4Uc8Dsxct0oMqx0P6i60ea" data-name="Conan Gray">Conan Gray</a>, David has released 6 songs so far. His debut single “Hot Pursuit” has gained intense local popularity, with over 20,000 streams and praise from friends and strangers alike; the song was even given a rating of 5 stars by Pop Passion Blog. Interviewed by papers such as The Daily Gamecock, The Miami Hurricane, and Shoutout Atlanta, he is beloved by many. In addition, he was recruited by WIS-TV (affiliated with NBC) and MTSU’s “The Wave” to be interviewed and to perform his song live on air. “Hot Pursuit” was part of his first and latest EP titled “All Fun… All The Time!”.

David grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, performing locally since he was about 7. He applied to the SC Governor’s School for Arts and Humanities, where he trained vocally for 2 years. After graduating in 2023, he spent a year living in Denia, Spain, prioritizing fine-tuning songwriting. He’s now studying at Middle Tennessee State University, majoring in Audio Production and making connections with other talent in the industry. He even won a school-wide performance competition and is now signed with the university label: Match Records. Each section of his life broadens his skill set, expanding his caliber from a singer to a well rounded artist, ready to make his mark on the industry.
