A natural storyteller with an eclectic musical perspective, David Vinder has an undeniably charismatic personality, which shines through his songwriting and performances.
David began his professional music career at age 13 with post-hardcore group, 287. He then went on to found the pop-punk outfit We Stole The Weekend. Fast forward to Ithaca College where David went on to form two more groups, Scopes Monkey Trial (funk/reggae) and South Hill Revival (rock) which developed a strong local following throughout their residency in Ithaca, NY. Each group featured original songs written and composed by Vinder.
At the start of the pandemic, David branched out into writing solo music. He began testing new material via his virtual live show, DVLSAS (Pronounced: “di-vel-sass” a.k.a. David Vinder’s Live Stream Acoustic Show) on social media.
In 2025, David will gear up for his second solo release, Extended Play II, led by the energetic, anthemic lead single, “My Life Underneath.”
