David Whitfield, who goes by Davidian, is a London, England-based producer of club hybrids rooted in post-dubstep and house. As a youngster, he took up piano and guitar, and then electronic music won him over as a university student. In 2013, he self-released the moody downtempo track "Come Along" and collaborated with Eli & Fur on "Let It Go," the latter of which was issued by XRL toward the end of the year. He then signed to the Kitsuné label and debuted there with "What I Want," featuring vocals from Tiffani Juno, in May 2014. The track appeared on 12" vinyl and as a digital download, with remixes from Eli & Fur, Panda, and Asdek present on both formats. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
