Davion T Mitchell, professionally known as Self Made Davion, is an American singer, songwriter and recording artist from Southern California. Playful but, yet extremely ambitious, his melodic sound comes from the love of Hip-Hop, and R&B. His inspirations come from artist Juice WRLD, Trippie Redd, The Kid Laroi, and Lil Skies. Spends a lot of his time recording, listening to beats, and trying to find new ways to make his next song.
This artist started making music back in 2018 after attending a rolling loud festival. When he got home, he had listened to a song called “Nowadays” by the artist “Lil Skies.” Which really gave him the push to really start making music because of the way it made him feel. He wanted to also give that feeling back to other people and create the same vibe.
That is when he made his first song “Keep It True” and then proceeded with a song called “Gucci Bag.” He performed “Gucci Bag” and opened up for Salice Rose back in 2018 which pushed him even more to continue to make music. After that he would continue to record and drop music on SoundCloud building his fan base.
On September 6 ,2019 he had his first interview with Atlantic Records in Los Angeles California which opened his eyes to be more versatile. In 2020 he would make his first song called “See It Through” to hit over 20k plays on Spotify which was a big milestone for him. Then he proceeded to open up for artist like Shoreline Mafia and many more.
