Hailing from the Bronx, NY, Davy Jr. is a rapper, singer, songwriter and producer who brings a new rap/R&B-infused sound with his music, accompanied by his honest and unapologetic lyricism that paints vividly the real-life experiences he’s lived, and the lessons he learned from them. Starting with short written verses and choruses that eventually turned into full-length songs, Davy began writing his own raps at the age of 14, after being heavily inspired by artists of the 2015-2018 Soundcloud Era, such as XXXTENTACION & Juice WRLD. However, Davy gives the most credit to his childhood best friend Ed, who insisted that he tried his hand at creating music, to which Davy obliged. Thus, Davy recorded his first ever single titled “Noggin”, and released it on Soundcloud in June of 2019. The song was met with positive reception, accumulating hundreds of plays in only 24 hours. Thus, Davy’s ambition for songwriting and music creation was sparked, and for the last 4 years, he has stayed up from morning to night, tirelessly working to better his craft and perfect his unique sound with each and every new release.
