“PARTY WAVE” (n) When multiple surfers ride the same wave together. This usually happens when the surfer in priority invites their surrounding neighbors on the wave rather than riding solo. This move is in direct contrast with surfing’s common competitive nature. Party waves often lead to laughter and an inclusive atmosphere in surf culture.
