Dawson McManus is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer from Peterborough, Canada.
Dawson has just finished writing, recording, mixing and mastering his first solo album, ELECTRIC ALTAR VOL I. Solo releases from this album have released, and are available on all streaming platforms. These include 'Frailty', 'Not Long', 'Aswang Annie', 'Scarlet Letter Linguist', and 'Enough of Nothing'.
He has toured extensively throughout North America. Stone Temple Pilots, God Smack, 3 Days Grace, April Wine, David Wilcox, I Mother Earth, and more, are among the iconic acts he has performed on stage with, as support.
Part of the Canadian music scene since 2000, he studied jazz bass performance at Mohawk College. In addition to forging a solo career, Dawson is a current member of Emily Burgess, and The Bowie Lives. He is the CEO/Founder of 646 Records.
