Dawson Murphy is an indie rock duo from Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada consisting of Thomas Dawson and Dean Murphy.


8/8/2018 - the duo released their debut album, <a href="spotify:album:2SVyKvY88JOF8sgj6JjwO1" data-name="New Day at Dawn">New Day at Dawn</a>. Leaving their imprint on the east coast soundscape, the album has been well received and several songs from the album have enjoyed extensive airplay on numerous Maritime radio stations. The album was also included on the East Coast FM’s Top 40 releases of 2018.


10/10/2019 - the duo released an acoustic version of their debut album - <a href="spotify:album:1a2DZINOFTgBrvdONMh6Hw" data-name="New Day at Dawn (Acoustic)">New Day at Dawn (Acoustic)</a>. The stripped down and intimate acoustic version comprises no bells and whistles, which casts a spotlight on the songwriting and singing.


5/31/2020 - Dawson Murphy returned with new music by releasing their latest single “Take The Wheel”which has received extensive airplay on several radio stations in Nova Scotia, reaching #1 on the East Coast Top 40 in July 2020.
